I'm Here! And Happy Weekend

Well, not actually here as in where the picture is...nope, not the bathtub (Although doesn't it look fabulous?) but I am here, alive and well and I've missed you! Life is like that sometimes. Breaks are needed, vacations taken and then life gets back to the way it was before all the breaks and vacations, and then you realize that you've actually missed "life" as mundane as it can feel sometimes. But it's yours and it's beautiful.

So, I'm back and I'm going to try to post atleast a few times a week and catch up with your blogs too.

 Everythings kind of coming together, getting stuff done and projects beginning. Is it this time of the year that motivates? Here are our new dining room chairs circa 1950's and I must say they are in really great condition, not even any wobbly legs!

Ahhh, the weekend is here and I'm sure there is so much going on, fall festivities atleast, but tonight we're heading into the city for this and I suspect we'll have some major laughs and see some interesting people...it's quite a line up!

Weekend Happiness

Finally! Here is part of the finished patio project and we couldn't be happier...all of us (especially the pups). Sorry for my lack of posting it just became one of those weeks!

Also, I am looking for a graphic designer to make some changes on here and I would love your suggestions!

Enjoy your weekend! I'll be finishing I remember Nothing, which is really great. Everything she wrote is so captivating. Do you have anything fun happening? I want to head to the beach today, stay for a seafood dinner and maybe hit the boardwalk, just R and I.

Sitting on the back porch surrounded by my garden that is just about to begin producing the flowers that I've spent hours and years planting, is one of my happiest places to be. To think. To just sit back and enjoy it all.

Not too sure why I chose this photo for today, maybe it's the yellow that caught my eye? Anyway, it's Thursday and I'm on day five of getting my butt in gear and jogging/walking everyday. I've gotten up to almost 5 miles each day and I now know why people get addicted to jogging/walking, what a great feeling! This is my weekend post because I have a pretty busy few days ahead and honestly, I feel like I need an early break to restore my creativity. Wishing you a beautiful day and weekend!
