Hikes, Bees and a Beautiful NJ...
Tuesday, September 7, 2010

Me, taking on the end of summer sun as we sat by the Musconetcong River....Not that soon after this photo was taken is when I mistakingly stepped on a bee hole and got swarmed...I panicked, I screamed and I survived. Needless to say, I am now traumatized by those little bees that I once was so tough around:)
Can you believe this is New Jersey? We found some of the most beautiful areas this weekend, like this trail that intersects with the Appalachian Trail before entering Pennsylvania.

that hike looks gorgeous! and bees scare me too
wow. if only there were places nearly as beautiful as that over here.
Plus your sheepdog would probably sweat away all of his fur. he looks like a giant cottonball.
ps. luck slapped you away from those bees.
Aw, such beautiful photos! Glad you survived the bees ;) xo
P.S. I have a jewelry giveaway going on today if you'd like to come see!
Those images are so lovely and relaxing...Love the sun:)

Ooh...I love hiking so much! Looks like you had a lovely time :)
Sorry about the bees though! I would have been much more terrified than you, I'm sure.
Just a few days ago when I was hiking, I got stung when i accidentally swat a bee onto my neck (thinking it was a fly). By the way, the place looks incredible!
I missed this part of NJ over the summer. Will you go back when the leaves have started to change colors and take more photos please? I really miss having seasons in southern CA. I mean, there are seasons here, but the leaves aren't painted like they are in NJ.
Yes, I definitely will Brandi! I was just noticing today that there's a slight change in the color already:)
